The working principle of Solar panel earth clips is that the spikes on the earth clip pierce the protection film on the surface of solar panel frame, making direct contact with the solar panel metal frame, and create a safe discharge path from solar panel to the mounting structure, and to the ground.

Once an electric leakage occurs in the solar PV system, the charge will quickly flow to the ground through the grounding wire, preventing damage to equipment and personnel from electric shock accidents.

Stainless steel grounding plates are the most used grounding plates. The stainless steel material has high mechanical strength and strong stability, the stainless steel keeps the ground plates not easily deformed or broken during installation, and can withstand the pressure of solar PV panel installation and the influence of external forces such as outdoor wind and vibration.

Strong corrosion resistance is another advantage of stainless steel material.
